Death.. it's a deadly five letter word and how much I can't stand it. I found out an old high-school friend died over the weekend with her husband. It's not only shocking, but it's heartbreaking they have a small child our daughters age in the car who survived. I have been numb to most of the news all day and the thought is bothersome.I was never really close to this high-school friend, but it hit closer to home than I expected. Feelings I didn't think I had or that had been closed off for so long resurfaced in me. I am heartbroken for a little girl who won't know her parents. I am sadden that this must happen all over the world each day.
