I have been away...

I didn't get to finish my thankful for posts because I got really sick.. yah it wasn't fun.. I hope that the new year gives me more time to do more posts. Over Thanksgiving I got sick got a new job offer (woot woot) and lost a grandfather on Saturday. It's been a week of emotion and stress. I hope that I can post some good stuff here soon. I have some new posts I have been working on that I say I am going to post but haven't. I am here I just have been away.

Month Of Thanks November 19,2016

I am thankful that I have been able to nurse my daughter for 3 1/2 years. I know it's not the normal thing but its something I am super proud of. I didn't want to nurse my daughter at fist but once I started I didn't want to stop. Our daughter might be our only child and I am hanging on as much as she is. I am thankful that I am able to give her this gift to start her life.

Month Of Thanks November 18,2016

I am thankful today for pie!! I have been looking all over for a classic pecan pie for next week looks like I found a family recipe that's close the hubs side of the family. I can't wait to bring it out next week !!I love pie it's something my mother and I use to make for holidays each thanksgiving my mother use to take the leftover crust and make tasty bits out of them. I can't wait to do this with our little tugboat this next week.

Month Of Thanks November 17,2016

I am thankful for our first snow of the season. I hate snow oddly enough but I know it's great for mother nature to have. Living here in Colorado it's expected tonight I watched my daughter enjoy tasking snow flakes as they came down. This was a moment I can't ever get back and I hold it deep in my heart. The first snowfall and my daughters first snow tasting.

I am thankful for learning new things. I try to learn something new each week or at least once a month I haven't been so good about it recently. I hope that with 2017 I can learn more live more.. be less stressed. I think learning is a great way to expand your mind and help you grow as a person. I am thankful for clothing or warm clothing. I am thankful that I can wake up and have something to put on and something that makes me feel cozy and makes me feel like me. I am extremely luck to be able to purchase nice clothing and things as I need them. I love that I can donate and give back when I can with my clothing I don't need anymore.

I am thankful for friends I don't have a ton of friends but I have at least five from high-school a few older friends from college and my husband. I am thankful for friends who help me with new issues that can be around when I need them. I have so many friends in my past and now present. I love the quote below.

Month Of Thanks November 11,2016

I am thankful for books I have so many that are on my to read list . I plan to make my 31 one year to read 12 books I might up it to 15 if I am fast. I plan to start my first one soon in January. I hope to blog about it here!! I am going to start keeping my goal something new each month and dedicate my month to that book. I am pretty excited about it. I will be doing a blog post soon about my 12 months of books for the 12 days of Christmas .

I am thankful for my marriage of 9 years. We passed 9 years last week its been a roller coaster I don't want to get off. The last of my husbands brothers got married today and it's bittersweet that they can now start a new adventure. I have surely had an adventure with my husband we have created a home a life and are now planning the future . I am thankful for marriage and the love two people share.

Month Of Thanks November 1,2016

I have been wanting to do a blog post each day this month since it's November to reflect on what I am most thankful for. It so happens to be my 6 year work anniversary today I am so proud of my accomplishments and I am thankful that I have a job that I can go to each day and provide food and shelter for my family. I haven't ever found a better job than this one I can't wait for my 10 year anniversary I get a month long sabbatical!! paid!!
