Last Day of 2016

I myself want to do all these things on the last day of 2016. I really think what I want to do is treat each day like it's day before new years. I want to live my life to the fullest without regret or worry that I made the wrong choice. Someone wise told me life is choices you make choices and have to live with your choices. I make choices that effects me and my family each day I always feel regret or worry that my choices are wrong. I want this next year to be less of settling for what I think is safe and open my mind.  I suggest today and each day enjoy life that's my big goal this next year live in the moment to be present and life life.

Bell Pepper Bagel Breakfast Sandwich

Bell Pepper Bagel Breakfast Sandwich 

2 bell peppers 

1 garlic clove

1 bagel 

1 egg

1 slice of any cheese of your choice (Cheddar, Munster are tasty)

Slice the bell peppers in strips and mince garlic saute in pan about 10 min. I like my veggies soft and kinda burnt . Then you will make an egg any way you like we did sunny side up on a toasted bagel.
It's pretty easy to assemble any way you want . We did bagel bottom,cheese,egg and peppers. this is such a tasty meal and any leftover peppers work great in a fajita for lunch.

2017 Reading

So with the new year coming up I am going to be reading in 2017 I have a stack of books that I need to start reading. I spend to much time on my ipad watching shows.. currently binge watching (shameless) . I have this urge to read more and expand my learning for 2017. I truly believe that 2016 wasn't the best year for many reasons so let the learning happen!!!

My New Years Resolutions

As the new year year starts so does the start of goals. I have some goals I want to do this year personal,mentally and physically. I think it's good to have goals to complete. I have listed a few below. It's a big list but I plan to tackle one each month and day ;)

• Read more 
• Laugh at the silly things in life
• Declutter my house  
• Pay down more debts (almost debt free)
• Learn something new with my husband
• Celebrate small things and accomplishments
• Look in to becoming a postpartum Doula 
• Carry less stress on my shoulders I am a child of worry (mom says)
• Work out with my husband and be a coach for him
• Cook and bake more and learn new recipes for my daughter

My Favorite Ornament

I wanted to share this ornament that we received a few years ago in 2011. My MIL was able to get Karolyn Grimes to sign this ornament. You might be asking yourself who is she?? she was Zuzu Bailey in It's a Wonderful life. I am not sure how my MIL was able to do this but this is hands down my favorite ornament. I think she was at a some store for antiques and my MIL happen to be here at the same time she was here. #dermae New Packaging Just for you!

I got these a few weeks ago and I can't tell you how much I love this new packaging on my day and night cream Derma-e . I wanted a few weeks to really try the night and day cream as my skin has this way of being greasy. I love the easy packaging of the day cream it's not heavy and makes my skin feel good after I apply it. I noticed with the day cream a big difference on putting on makeup . My makeup tends to cake with other day creams but this didn't leave any residue or buildup. The Nighttime cream I applied after I washed my face and used this to hydrate as I sleep. I tend to drink coffee thru-out the day and I think that coffee drys out my skin. I noticed that using the night cream It soaked in to my skin easy and didn't leave a grease stains on my pillow. I also love that these products are  100% vegan, cruelty-free formulas and do not contain parabens, sodium lauryl sulfates, petrolatum, mineral oil, artificial colors. I am always looking for products that are better for me and for the environment . I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to give back to the environment and to themselves.

I have been away...

I didn't get to finish my thankful for posts because I got really sick.. yah it wasn't fun.. I hope that the new year gives me more time to do more posts. Over Thanksgiving I got sick got a new job offer (woot woot) and lost a grandfather on Saturday. It's been a week of emotion and stress. I hope that I can post some good stuff here soon. I have some new posts I have been working on that I say I am going to post but haven't. I am here I just have been away.

Month Of Thanks November 19,2016

I am thankful that I have been able to nurse my daughter for 3 1/2 years. I know it's not the normal thing but its something I am super proud of.  I didn't want to nurse my daughter at fist but once I started I didn't want to stop. Our daughter might be our only child and I am hanging on as much as she is. I am thankful that I am able to give her this gift to start her life.

Month Of Thanks November 18,2016

I am thankful today for pie!! I have been looking all over for a classic pecan pie for next week looks like I found a family recipe that's close the hubs side of the family. I can't wait to bring it out next week !!I love pie it's something my mother and I use to make for holidays each thanksgiving my mother use to take the leftover crust and make tasty bits out of them. I can't wait to do this with our little tugboat this next week.

I am thankful for our first snow of the season. I hate snow oddly enough but I know it's great for mother nature to have. Living here in Colorado it's expected tonight I watched my daughter enjoy tasking snow flakes as they came down. This was a moment I can't ever get back and I hold it deep in my heart.
